Random Gun Pics...let’s see how random we can make it

They are everywhere, my son and i found one aboard the USS Intrepid a couple of years ago and tried to bring a bead on the seagulls.
Lots of cranking, the ones I was used to were hydraulic.

My company fielded the RBS 70 system, but 3 Comp hauled the 40's around. We used the same radar.

Kastellet Bed & Breakfast
We stayed in this island fortress that had been converted to a bed and breakfast inn in the Stockholm archipelago. It had a nice array of Swedish artillery, older and more modern.

Coolest place I've ever stayed!

I love my job. I get to see some neat stuff. Here is a H&K SL7. The only one that I have had my hands on.

I had one of those many years ago. A rugged, well made rifle it was sort of the civilian version of the HK91. Only problem I had with it was parts and accessories were hard to come by and expensive when you did find them!

@lionking what a great gift to have a picture of your Dad and his mates from that era...treasure it!
Thanks he had a huge impact on me. He entered the army as anti aircraft , then infantry Garryowen 7th Cav in Korea, then in Germany mortar and Howitzer during the late 50's, then went state side Ft Riley Kansas and such for a while, then helicopter operations 1st Cav in cu chi Vietnam where caught some metal from a rocket attack, then state side at Ft Rucker , he use to take me on the flight line at Rucker with all the UH-1 and CH-47 and such I always liked helicopter since because, then finished of as a recruiter in Miami.

He is left the E7 with his Howitzer team.

First rifle of mine dad bought it for me when I was like 12 or 13 old. Still have it still shoot it. Still has the Weaver V22 scope on it. When I do my part with Aguila ammo it is very accurate. Lot's of memories with this rifle. The thing is, years later as you may accumulate more and nicer guns, it is often the ones that have memories tied to family and friends that mean the most.

Ah, the grand old days when Army used both a Whistle and the newfangled green felt tabs to designate leadership positions. Some ell-earned insignia.

Since our commie Prime Minister has made my legally purchased and registry logged (mandatory so the government knows where all of the legal AR15s are) AR15 illegal, I've fallen back on my IR laser equipped MR-1. It takes STANAG mags, that 30 round mag is pinned to 5 rounds as per Kanadian law.

I can use the iron sights under the illuminated PA 1x6x24 scope.

Only law enforcement, the military and the criminals/terrorists can have normal capacity mags.

Don't give a single inch to the gun grabbers, because they will never stop. Once they ban one type of gun they will move on to the next until the only ones with guns are the government.

Do we get any extra credit if we know the one on the top is the .22 and the bottom one the 7mm?
Just great respect from expertise. Yep, the firing pin selector reveals the secret. I always forget to switch them on "safe".

The middle one with the double trigger is just about the same size as a NMA.

The top one is 32 bore, .526, a proper size pistol! Would probably take .550 RB

Deane, Adams & Deane dragoon size revolver as used in Crimea.

It came out of Vicksburg about 30 years ago.

Might have been one of the guns smuggled to the confederacy by the British, really no way to find out.
