CZ hands down.

Have 1 Beretta a 92x performance, nice gun but IMO outclassed by other pistols in the same price range.

My shadow 2 is better in every way.

I prefer the Beretta products, but I'd probably choose a 92X-GR, the decocker only version.

I used to shoot and love my Beretta 92 and 96 models but now with hand problems the CZ's are more comfortable to shoot.

The 92X has what Beretta calls "Vertec grips" . If unfamiliar, think more 1911 looking. The store near me has one, though not exactly the one I'm looking at. It has a straight backstrap and reduced width. It also comes with a wrap around grip to emulate the standard 92 size.

The fullsize CZ's outperform the Berrettas in every way, if you're ok with the extra weight of them. Shadow 2 and Ts2 are excellent quality.

The compact CZ's and B's dont make as much sense as a Glock or 1911 though. Avoid the decocker models.

A commander version of the Shadow with a lighter scandium frame would be priceless.

I chose the Beretta. The fact that it doesn't need an feed ramp and the cartridges feed straight into the barrel is why I chose it. I have a Beretta 92 and I reload. It will feed all my reloads even if they are out of spec in the slightest. I also have the CZ . I like the SP01 and its a grfeat shooter but the Beretta slightly beats the CZ in my experience.

Fwiw, I have a witness elite match, a cz p07, and am trying to find a reasonably priced Beretta m9a3 that I might replace both with. Not because it's a better gun, but because I think it will run better with my heavy suppressor and light handloads. I do think the cz has better ergos.

I said nothing about compact model.
Sorry, the only 92X-FR I've seen was the compact model... wasn't aware there was a full-size version.

Are you speaking from personal experience? Because I recently shot the Shadow side by side with the 92X Performance and the Beretta had a noticeably better trigger and seemed (no groups were measured, to be fair) to display better accuracy.

As far as the OP's request, I think it's doubtful that we'll see anything more than highly subjective opinions, given that this forum seems inundated with far more CZ fans than Beretta fans. As for me, I like both the CZ-75 series and the 92 series pistols and have examples of each. (I just don't care for either maker's polymer-framed pistols.)

A counter point, for the OP

I still don't like grabbing levers when I rack a slide, but good video. On my 92FS Inox that I once owned, I had no means of replacing the dead night sights. Beretta CS recommend glow paint…lmao!
Buy what fits your hand best:)

Almost voted Yeet Cannon but I gave the nod to CZ as well. If controls don’t bother you, there’s not a nickel’s difference in my book between CZ and Beretta when it comes to reliability and accuracy. I’ve got 2XL hands and shoot either just fine.
