Hello all,
I have a Rossi 92 in .357 with the 16 inch barrel. Very handy little rifle with a nice slick action. The only real problem with the rifle is the sights. They're pretty basic and hard to see. Plus, due to the short barrel, the sight radius is very short, making precise aiming difficult. I've used it this year as a nice little woods deer rifle. Shot a fat doe at about 40 yards.
What I'm wondering is if anyone has installed peep sights on a 92? I don't like scout scopes, so a scope is out of the question due to the action. I like aperture sights, but I'm not sure I like the look at the side mounted Williams sight. I am looking at these:

They make a set for the 92. Anyone used these? Mine is an older, pre-safety 92, that has the front sight integral to the barrel band. Any tips or information from anyone with a 92 would be appreciated.
