Maybe you should go read "No Heroes" and "Cold Zero" for starters. Books by folks who were there.
You still have not defended your overly stupid comment that the "egos on HRT" kept them from waiting out Koresh. They waited far longer than appropriate, but you clearly have an axe to grind...
Are you kidding me?? Where do you get your information? HRT and all involved were more than patient. They went in because Koresh was about to start killing his own folks. You might want to do some research before jumping to exceptionally stupid assumptions like that.
It is done that way...
Can you please expand upon this statement? Especially since you bolded part of it.
You might want to do some more research. The people who scribbled out a new lethal force policy on the way to RR did so w/o any authority. The snipers and agents on scene knew this and did the correct thing -...
No matter how hot it gets my guns disappear under a t-shirt in the McDaniel II from Andrews Leather. It hides a full size (steel) Para P14-45, a G22, etc.
The steel mouth will NOT collapse when you draw the gun. The belt loops are interchangable for size (my casual gun belt is wider than my...
I would take it with me to the party, but I'm stubborn like that.
If you absolutely have to leave it in the room... disassemble the gun and take a key piece with you (barrel is a good one). Hide the parts in different areas. If you have a cable lock or cuffs, use it to secure the slide...
I think you handled the end part (with the hammer) pretty well. But as others mentioned, I hope I would have listened to that little voice long before that point. I have no problem telling someone to stick it or let them get mad because I won't do what they want -- especially for a stranger...
The HK USP45C is a fantastic weapon and is perfect for CCW. It is not too small, but plenty small enough that it disappears under a t-shirt with an IWB holster. It is not IMO too wide to carry IWB.
The recoil is not bad at all - there is a recoil reduction system in the weapon that works...
The HK is not that large of a weapon. A full size HK USP? Yes. The P2000, not any larger than most CCW type pistols. The light rail is nice if the gun will ever see "nightstand" duty.
As for hiding a full size gun in FL, it is easily accomplished. You just need a decent IWB holster. I...
Why not just carry a G17 full size mag? I don't carry the spare G27 mags when I have the gun on me... just plan on using the 15rd G22 mags if it comes to reloading.
