As many here, I would open up reloading posts that were not necessarily in my interests, just to see what I could learn. I would read, and look for RC's response, as I could count on it to be the correct information.
RC, rest in peace in our creator's arms. Thank you for your service, thank you for your knowledge, thank you for being the highlight of THR.
My prayers for your family.
I lost my dad over 10 years ago at the age of 69 to lung cancer. Just like RC, way too young! We've also had our share of family members with Alzheimer's and dementia. Two of my mother's brothers are in assisted care facilities and are both going through the spectrum. Until we got them in a home, it was a tough burden on my mom and us.
So, I can understand, to a degree, the toll on RC in caring for his wife.
