Took my kids shooting in the national forest yesterday and still nobody likes any of my pistols. Stopped by a gun store and scored this with all the mags for 350usd (more if you add stupid CBI and taxation). This has an LEM trigger. Internals very pristine, I doubt this had many rounds through it. Took it out to the range this morning and put 100rds through it, no failures. Shoots a little better for me than my v1 usp 40 compact. Hope the kid and wife find this easier to handle than my other pistols.

The P2000 is a nice piece of kit. I've had good luck with them from a press the trigger, gun goes bang and puts round where aimed standpoint. With regard to using them for daily carry, I just never warmed up to it. It's the perfect size, literally Glock 19 sized, but I have the same issue with the P2000 that I have with the USP series, I just don't pick up the sights as quickly as with some other pistols for some reason. I feel like I have to work really hard to pick up the sights when drawing from concealment.

I really enjoy shooting my p2000 lem. It fits me really well. I find that carry is not much different from any other similar size pistol. I know that I shoot it well and it’s a quality firearm! Congrats on the find .

Excellent find!
One of my gripes about my lack of good deals is because I'm not actively searching. I have the thought that if it is meant to be then the timing will present. So far...nope. ;)

The place where I the p2000 typically has used pistols for way too much, but those high prices are usually on glocks, m&ps, rugers, p30s and vps. At one point they had pristine but used full sized usp 40 and 9mm for 499 each but I let those pass. Still surprised on this deal. One big neg: all 3 mags are 10rds so I need to pick up a couple normal capacity mags and a small mag plate.

I wasn't really searching but at times I go to that store to look for clearance on SD ammo and other parts.

for $350 you stole that thing.
my P2000 is the only gun I've ever sold, because it would pinch my hand so badly on a reload I would get blood blisters.

Yeah definitely stole it, just need a couple normal cap mags, maybe an iwb holster.

Both the girls (11 and 15) can rack the slide and handle the trigger although the length of travel and the bit of stacking at the end on the LEM got them at first (dry fire). Hopefully 9mm makes it more pleasant for them as they could sort of handle my usp 40c but not very well. A taurus pt111 g2 was IMHO my easiest handling polymer but that one is much lighter in comparison with a much stiffer slide.

Great gun at a stellar price! Hope everything checks out okay with the gun after you and your family have had a chance to shoot it.

Ran 100rds through it yesterday morning. No failures with remington 115gr rn white and green box.

I moved to the Denver metro area myself almost 2 yrs. ago and I have found good gun deals like this few and far between. I also have a 9mm P2000, v3 trigger variant and it is probably my favorite carry gun. Good Luck with yours!

Congrats. You got a fantastic deal!

I have owned like 12 different HK pistols over the years - the P2000 is my favorite. I had one and sold it years ago, because I needed the $$ to buy something else. A few years ago, I bought another one. I personally prefer the DA/SA model, but it has been my main carry gun for over 3 years now. Fantastic gun.

I have factory night sights on mine. I also have the P2000sk in DA/SA as well....
