He wouldn't shoot and ruin the collector value of the gun. Plus the gun would end up in the police lock up. No way he would fire the gun.

Are you saying you took the original post as anything but tongue in cheek? It was meant as humor as a way to deflect if not defuse his disappointment of knowing he would lose the bid of an overpriced item. I see that as healthy not low road. Perhaps later JohnKSa will chime in and settle the question.

I found this topic to be very amusing.

So did I. I didn't take it as anything but humor, even if he did bid on it. That's why I was teasing him about outbidding him.

I wanted to bring this crazy post up again to show if a person is spending big money they should get better than a mass produced MIM actioned not even a Python for their money ! Less than half of $30,000 you could own this magnificent Westley Richards ! aND IF YOU JUST HAD TO SPEND YOUR $30,000 YOU COULD ALSO ADD A CASED WESTLEY RICHARDS RIFLE. The value will always go up !
