Pocket Pistol is an old term from the time when men wore suit jackets. I don't believe thy were ever intended to be carried in a pants pocket. I carry pocket pistols regularly, almost never in a pants pocket. They carry comfortably in an OWB, IWB, or Remora type holster and don't print under a t-shirt. They are also much easy to access. What more could you ask for? Why cram one in your jeans?
Tru dat. When I carry my LCP MAX, it's IWB at 2:30 in a Vedder LightTuck. Very comfortable and very concealed.Pocket I carry pocket pistols regularly, almost never in a pants pocket. I have been unable to find jeans with useful pockets, for quite some time. Even my favored Wranglers evolved into something with pockets that are only suitable as decorations. I gave up on jeans, several years ago. The VertX trousers, that I used to buy, have similarly devolved, regarding their front pockets. I have thought about going to a police equipment store, and seeing if I can find the type of duty trousers that the PD used to issue to me, during my final several years of service, which ended in 2018. Those front pockets could accommodate a Ruger SP101.
+1 That's what I do as well. Put it in my jacket pocket, zip it up, and go about my day. If needed, I'll unzip my pocket, and will have the gun in hand ready to fire from the pocket should I see a possible threat. If I pocket carry its a 642 and I just drop it into a pocket. The trigger is long and heavy enough that I am not concerned with an accidental discharge.
