How long did it take for your Concealed Carry License to come in?

Update on my earlier post. My license came in on the 13th. 3 weeks and 5 days after I submitted the paperwork.

Nevada CCW wait time

They have up to 120 days. I received mine in 32 days.

I think that was a good wait time for Nevada, considering that I opened the mail on my birthday and..................there it was!

In PA - Same day
In WV - One week

About 2 and a half weeks with jefferson county colorado, but i went in with my military qualifications. it shouldn't take more than a month or so, it just depends on the sheriff's dept.

NC - 21 Days!!!

The Permit is actually dated 12 days after I filed it.

Alabama: Had it when I left the Sheriff's office. Total elapsed time: 17 minutes.

here in Ohio, they have 45 days, and I got mine in 9. Relatively easy and smooth process.

In VA, two weeks with no problems.

I have permits for both Washington and Oregon. They both took 60 days to get after application. Neither Oregon or Washington are particularly "gun friendly". I am an Oregon resident. Oregon is a "shall issue" state. I applied for my Washington state permit in Vancouver, WA. Washington county Sheriffs can deny an out of stater getting a WA state permit for any reason and some Sheriffs in some counties just won't approve them.

PA it took all of two days. Drop off at police dept. one day to do back groud check. Day two took to courthouse to get pics and I'm done.

don't remember for my VA CCW; but I recently received a reminder from Florida for my out of state CCW that's coming up for renewal in November.

I think Oregon is 45 days. Mine came in 8. Not bad.

10 years ago in Arkansas is took the full 90 days that they were allowed to take.

5 long months...Had to be printed twice...They had a problem with the first set...Usually issued within 90 days.

The time it's taking in Arkansas right now is ridiculous. 4 months is typical. Mine took 4 months 3 weeks and only came after I wrote the Regulatory Services Division of the AR State Police. Then I had to email the person who responded twice to get it mailed.

Let's see. I mailed off my packet and my check two days before tax day... so that's April 13th.... and got my permit 2 weeks ago..... that was August 10th....

So all told, mine took almost 4 months. According to one of my A-Troop buddies, there are only 2 women who work in that office, and they are angry. Angry with their life, with what they do, and all these stupid people who want to carry guns with them everywhere they go.

I moved, about 2 months after I applied. Bought a house in the same zip code. It took 5 phone calls to figure out what I needed to do for them. I didn't get to talk to an actual person until I called, asked to speak to their supervisor's supervisor, and he was wonderfully helpful. Walked down the hall to their office, retrieved the line, and handed it to one of the hateful ladies.

Arkansas sucks. I think the problem is that the CHL involves paperwork, and most people here can't read real good.

Ohio here. One week and my husband had an extra check because he is from England.

PA - 1 day
FL - 57 days
NH - about 30 days
ME - about 40 days
NV - less than 30 days
UT - 4 months and counting grrr....
CT - 4 months and counting as well.

45 years and still waiting. I live in one of the CA counties that will be DEAD LAST in the nation to allow CCW, if they ever do.

I talk to my wife about once a week about moving to Arizona....

Everything I heard and read said South Carolina would take 85 - 90 days.

I received mine in 60. I attribute that to my CWP trainer, who is a local LEO and handled all of the paper work.

Still waiting on Utah; it's been 120 days (60 since they cashed my check).

In Clarksville Tennessee, took 24 days from day I submitted my finger prints until it arrived in mail. I understand the city/county had nothing to do with time limit.

I recently called Utah and was told it would take at least 6 months, but should be right around the 6 month mark.

Nevada has up to 120 days.

I got mine in 32 days.

Great present.

45 days, it takes up to 60 in washington state for none residents, but about a week for residents.
