That's me - and my favorite M39, the first one I ever bought - $180 gunsmith special from AIM. Hits one liter bottles at 120 yards, standing up (picture taken about 10 minutes after having made that shot)

Shootin' with my girlfriend (now wife)

ally-1.jpg

The weapon is unloaded and was triple checked by sight and touch. She missed a great chance to make me pay for buying a new rifle that week...

Changed my entry slightly to be more reflective of the thread theme.

A couple of pics from our annual Central Ohio ShootFest.
It's a great mix of folks who like to shoot, including a great
cadre of American patriots who served in 'Nam, GWI and
Afghanistan. Lots of range action during the day, and a
good dose of hard partyin' at night. As good as it gets!

Let me just say, I think it's the coolest thing to see retired folks on these message boards! I honestly really think that it's awesome. Most retired people I have ever met have some sort of aversion to computers in general, they usually wouldn't even know what a message board is! (No, I am not saying your "old", I am saying your cool! ;) )

Me after a boar hunt not to long ago.

245# field dressed. Hit him in vitals with a 7mm rem mag and he still ran 150 yards before expiring.

Me (60lbs heavier than my current weight) with my German Shorthair Pointer Tuff who was 6 month old at the time.

Green Dragons Rock!!

Pretty cool to look thru. Quite a spectrum of persons.

I had just climbed out of the cockpit after the last mission of a very long 2nd tour in central Iraq.
