Are we experts?

From all the definitions I've seen on this thread, I've come to the conclusion I ain't one!

it seems that there are tons of people out there who want to be called an expert. in my opinion anyone who tries to make people believe they are expert are the ones to stay away from. im young, im definatly not an expert. and yet iv been shooting for the last 20 years. iv talked to people of all ages who shoot, iv sat in gunshops talking to gunsmiths,iv read books , researched on the web etc. but i am not an expert. not even close. i have more knowledge of guns than most my age, most than a lot of older people, but in so many ways it is as if i just started learning. there are blank spots in my knowledge and so much else that is left for me to learn.
i have a true interest in learning. hands on and otherwise. but in no way am i an expert. i believe that nobody can truly be an expert as there is truly no way to know everything

Just say you're "gun saavy"...

I prefer to think of myself as a firearms connoisseur.
