I was watching the Military Channel and they had a 1hr special called San Francisco SWAT. As a cop, I was naturally interested. It started out about the weapons and tactics and the need for a SWAT team in a big city. Then it took a downward spiral.
The first incident focused on an office shooting that took place in 1993 at 101 California St in downtown SF. A disgruntled businessman took two Tec-9's and a .45 to the building killing six and wounding 8. Now...it went down hill as the narrator stated the following.
"45 millimeter pistol"
"Tec-9 assault rifles"
Then they interviewed the husband of one of the victims (RIP). But he went on about the availabilty of guns with "100rd clips" and spray fire from the hip. Then the show spent more time interviewing a newspaper reporter from an SF paper. The availability of guns was focused on for about 10 mins of the show...
I know its nothing to get my panties in a twist over. But it just astounds me how it managed to get squeezed into a SWAT show on the Military Channel. Thankfully the rest of the show focused on police stuff.
I just wanna know if anyone else saw, and gagged, over parts of that show.
