Not quite feeling content voting, I decided to up the antee and bought a gun on election day.
I am now the proud owner of a SIG P220SAO with night sights. I had wanted a Springfield MC Operator, but with my budget and recent unexpected expenses, this just wasn't feasible. The SIG was $500 less, and as soon as I held it, I knew it was coming home with me. I haven't shot it yet, but it feels solid and everything is silky smooth. So far, no buyer's remorse at all, just an itchy trigger finger.
Hearing reports of booming gun sales in the days immediately following, I couldn't help but reflect that maybe once, I was the trend setter.
Anybody else make their voices heard on election day in more ways that one?
