CZF, they did indeed. It's good to see my cat getting some publicity, I just hope she doesn't let it go to her head. :D

I think that you just did!! And I'll bet you that you can't have just one......
Now your next venture is to go shopping for new grips! By the way, looks like you're relatively new so welcome to THR....hope that you enjoy it (and the New CZ) as much as I have.

Codger, when I ordered my grips, I meant to order the half-checkered, but accidentally ordered the full checkered. I immediately called after I placed my order and they said they would switch it to half. They must have just run out, or forgot to change it, because they still sent the full. Oh well, I still really like the full checkered, more than I thought I would. Snatch up a pair of the full if you can, you'll like'em!

Quick ammo question. Is there any ammo that I should stay away from with the CZ-75. I've shot the American Eagle 124 gr. brass casing, Boxer primed so far with no issues. Does the steel casing ammo go through okay? Pricing you know....
Also, any hollowpoint issues with failures?
How 'bout input for the best round for this weapon in regard to personal defence. I have two mags and thought I'd use one for PD and leave at home in a handy locale and the other to use for range and plinking...
Thanks

CZs are supposed to eat anything but the largest mouthed HPs, at which point becomes more about specialty ammo than a problem with the gun. gold dots in 40 work and golden sabers work in my 9, but it's up to you to do the final tests.

Only ran a box of Blazer Brass and box of Brown Bear (Russian El
PHP:
Cheapo's) through mine with no problem at all. Planning on Golden Sabre for SD if it will handle OK.

How do I post full size pictures?

I know this isn't the place for this question but it appears that I'm amongst a bunch of Xperts!!! How in the blankydeblankblank do I post full size pictures from "My Documents"? I've tried every imaginable combination of using the [ ]'s but to no avail. They always come out "thumbnail" size. At this point, I think it's easier to hit a chigger's whisker at 100 yards in a blustery 25mph crosswind using a Daisy BB Gun with a minus 8X scope!!! Do I sound frustrated?....

Some will tell you that steel cased ammo is harder on CZ extractors than
brass cased ammo.

Others say that stuff like Wolf runs fine in their guns.

I stay away from it in any CZ pistol but the CZ83.

The 9mm MAK guns seem to hold up with steel cased stuff/
I've only shot a bit of .380 Wolf, but no problems.

hello, I of it have ordered a dall' gunner but has still not arrived to me, is 20 days that aspect, and now me incazzo! it is cz the 75 d compact ALU 9x21, appeals to me so much, someone of you us this model?

Just got a High Noon holster in for my P-01, maybe I'll post some pics. I only have one thing to say: Like a GLOVE. The fit is absolutely perfect. I haven't carried with it yet, I won't be getting my CHL until late this month. :(

I also had my first failure to load. ~1600 rounds, mostly Blazer Brass, WWB, and Federal AE. It kind of surprised me, this was the first time I've ever had any sort of hangup with the gun and it only happened once. It fails to lock back sometimes, but that's related to my grip hitting the slide stop. Grip's getting better, it's a constantly improving process.

Here's my 75B with custom grips by me

I posted these over on the CZFORUM and I thought maybe you guys would like to see them too.

I am not an accomplished grip maker like Haken or Omega, but I thing these came out OK. The wood is called Lacewood. First time I ever used the stuff in a project so I was a bit worried about how it would work out.

The look Really good!..

They remind me of the first grips that Hakan ever crafted.
He used some synthetic materials then went to wood.

Back then the CZs that most of us were buying had the
erognomic grips that were quite ugly.

However, even though custom CZ grips have evolved over the
last 10 years or so. Some people still like the finger rest grips.

I applaud your first effort, and wish you the best of luck if you decide to become a grip maker.
