I've been running low on the las little bit of my 9mm. Ive been reluctant to order directly from Berry's Mfg because of the "since we are very busy, we may not ship your order for a week" statement on their website. Honestly though, they make a great product for a great price, and with the free shipping it's one of the better deals out there.

Well I'm happy to say that I ordered last night and already received a "your order has shipped" email, or at least it's been processed, or something...either way I'm pleased. Last time I ordered Berry's bullets it was because of a sale at Cabelas, and even on sale they were not this cheap!

I've also received my orders from Berry's very promptly, never had to wait more than a week. I also order Berry's from TJ Conevera, same free shipping, and if he carries the style bullet you are looking for, lower cost than Berry's direct unless you want to only order 250 or so to try.

I've ordered quite a few times from Berry's and found their deliveries to be pretty fast. I think they put that disclaimer in their ads just in case they do get backed up from time to time. Promise 2 weeks delivery and ship in 2 days, everybody's happy. Promise 2 days delivery and ship in 2 weeks, lots of very angry customers.

I get them very quickly, despite the disclaimer. I am sure there are instances where they are slow to ship one thing or another, thus the disclaimer, but I wouldn't it stop me. TJConevera has some Berrys in stock, and ships fast.

I have had good, short lead time deliveries from Berry these days.

During 2009 when everything shooting was in short supply and high demand, things got backed upped at all the vendors.

Why not buy FMJ's? They're better than the overpriced plated.

Berrys plated 124 RN $86.51
Precision Delta 124 FMJ $79

My last order of 20,000 (shipped the same day) arrived in 3 days.

If you are not a dealer, powder valley had the best prices (lower than direct from berrys) last I looked.

They are one of those companies that have their act together. They know how to make customers happy and are prompt in getting the orders out.I alwys have bought direct because of the free shipping plus I can order ammo boxes and other stuff that the shipping is free also then.As far as overpriced plated -no way-what FMJ can you normally buy that you don't pay shipping on?

Precision Delta will provide you with free shipping on FMJ's with a minimum order of 2000 bullets. If you order less, it's only $5 shipping. Note that there evaluation packs of 100 bullets ship free no matter how few you order. I'm evaluating several sample packs in 9mm now.

True but Powder Valley doesn't give free shipping.

True but 2000 147g 9mm from PV is $169 from Berrys they are $200. 2000 will ship in 1 USPS flat rate box for $11 or so.

Everytime I have ordered from Berrys, The order went out next day and I received them in 2-3 days. Never more than 3 days.

Im very happy with their service and continue to use them

re PD 124gr fmj's:
I'm evaluating several sample packs in 9mm now.

I shot them for a while. I recieved 1000 (?) that the oal had extreme variations. I measured 50 and emailed PD about the problem and showed them the measurements. They responded quickly and to their credit sent me another 500 bullets free of charge. They said someone must have inadvertently packaged the QC "culls". I divided the original bullets into three different lots for reloading with three different oals.

I got the 500 freebies and they were just as bad as the first lot. I haven't tried them again since then. My son loaded them for bang-bang range ammo.

I believe Berry's will sell you "sample packs" containing an assortment of their bullets, but you have to ask for them.

Even factoring in shipping, ordering from PVI is cheaper than ordering direct from Berrys. For a box of 1000 100 grain projectiles, PVI was $7 cheaper than the same stuff direct from Berry's.

I tried to do a check shipping prices from Powder Valley (aka PV) but they wanted me to fill out all of order info stuff name name and addr 1st. I priced 1000x115g 9mm 68.35 + shipping and Berry's direct at 82.78 including shipping. I just may give it a go next time.

I also looked at Precision Delta 124 FMJ, but they are exposed lead base. As I shot mostly at indoor ranges, a little less airborne Pb is better for me.

I've shot thousands of 9mm and .45 ACP bullets from Berry's and they ship very fast and their customer service is good as well. One time I got a box that was supposed to be 1000 but actually contained about 945 bullets. I called them and the lady I talked to said they had found a few boxes that were short and she sent me a box of 100 to make up the difference. I can't complain.

tj conevera is cheaper than berry's direct and includes free shipping.

If you're looking to buy 1000 bullets.

I usually buy one box of this & one box of that.
So buying from Berry's site works better for me.
And they ship very fast.
It's never been more than a week for me.

If you are looking for accuracy in 9mm bullets, Berry's 124 gr HBRN-TP (Hollow Base RN - Thick Plate) has been outshooting my reference 115 gr FMJ loads with various powders - http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?p=7217193#post7217193

Powder Valley carries Berry's bullets and pricing is very competitive (they also carry pricing for 250 bullet quantities):

9MM 115 GR RN (1000)$68.35
9MM 115 GR FP (1000) $68.35
9MM 124 GR FP (1000) $71.77
9MM 124 GR RN (1000) $72.94
9MM 124 GR HP (1000) $72.94
9MM 124 GR HBRN-TP (1000) $74.04

Graf & Sons is another Berry distributor that is giving free shipping right now.

One thing to consider.... when you order from Berry, you usually get the bullets in their neat plastic boxes.
