Yeah, the ones at HKSpecialist went pretty fast!
As long as you find one in ANY configuration other than Glock. You can call up KT and get the mag catch you want. The only reason I was considering the Sub2K was magazine interchangeability with the P11 I plan on getting and my S&W 469. I'll probably have an easier time of finding a Marlin camp carbine 9mm, with also uses S&W 59 series mags.
The folding option of the Kel Tec is a bonus, but an unnecessary one.
I'll quit hijacking the thread now.
Artofgolf asked "Have you found a better alternative for mounting optics & retaining the folding feature?"...
...I'll post a few pics with a range report to follow....
Primary Arms MD ADS red-dot order placed -
... Called Kel-Tec customer service to buy ... in the little carbine. Two days later it was in my mailbox, and at no cost. What a fun little carbine! .....And as a trunk gun ....., it is near perfect. Going to have to get a Gen2 now;....George Kelgren is a design genius.
...Seeing this thread, I either need to buy parts or a new gun.
Just checked CDNN; Out-of-stockcdnn has them
never liked kel-tec's products, something just feels cheap about them. i did look into this gun though, looks neat but a beretta cx4 is much higher quality for a similar price.
...Do you know the weight of the CX-4?
I've been wanting a Sub 2000 because they fold in half for a back pack, but the biggest plus for me is that they can use the GLOCK mags!At $600.00 the Beretta CX4 is a much better quality and available gun.
I do not yet have this model, but I do have three others. Always been a great sight for the money and Primary Arms has excellent customer service.Has anyone here used this red-dot? I know that PA optics are very popular with the members.
