.308 is the easiest to shoot accurately with whats offered by todays standards and its inherently accurate design same with the 270..
Never felt that way about the 30-06 nice little cartridge but with the factory ammo ive shot, it just doesnt pair up as nicely as the 270 or 308..
Im going to be purchasing my first 1911 first I want to know whats American made.. these days thats in the 600-750ish range Springfield GI is made in brazil.. PT1911 is also.. I want to support our boys here in the U.S.

257 weatherby in the accumark(would the remington be better for accuracy).. or... 6.5x55 in the tikka super/stainless varmint..
Both come in quality brass however the 6.5x55 comes with lapua.. so that in itself is an upgrade.. as for the 257 comes in norma..
Philosophy of use will be a...
Yep thats correct.. more along the lines of on-topic.. as the "best" legal semi auto centerfire would be an AR built from the ground up regardless of the mag cap.
Wow this is a wild cat that ive never heard and they do make brass and dies for it. :uhoh:
I actually remember reading somewhere of the 264 thor.. being 6.5-378 weatherby..
Not for me.
Yes.. agree this is bad information for anyone coming to get info... 223 is something to consider for varmint if this is an "ethical" thread.. I would assume we would be starting off with at the very least a soft 6.5mm or heavy .25 caliber assuming big game is big game.. and we arent talking...

Ar wins.. with a simple lower you can have just about any caliber they make that will fit in a 223/556 mag..
Mini is a horrible rifle extremely inaccurate and getting one accurized to anywhere near a quality ar costs 1000's hitting what your aiming at is the biggest battle.. if your shooting...
338 wm is a horrible cartridge for long range capabilities. 338 lapua however is not. Cheaper however is the 338 rum not as accurate as the lapua due to the quality of brass in its very name and quality rifles available w/o having to build a custom..
IMO 338's are to expensive to shoot are to...
If the man and the platform can perform..out to those ranges with solid confidence who's to say otherwise? I think the feat in technology and craftsmanship in what these guys are capable of doing today is jaw dropping.
No one should be unhappy that the average joe can get a custom rifle of...
Now why would you put a 1 in 7 on a 16" Ar platform? Im curious to see what people have to say.. over at AR15.com testing it against alot of other production models it fell short on accuracy..
Is there military/factory ammo that will shoot well in these?
