    I have a Sig 220 elite stainless and a 226 elite stainless. Flawless and accurate. Not to mention BEEFY. Glocks are good too. But they have no soul.

    I own some very expensive guns. (Sig Elites, Harrison/Les Baer) They perform flawlessly and are very accurate. Thing is, a carry gun is going to get beat up possibly confiscated at some point.     I have 45's and 44's 357's 9mm and a p3at in 380. A 380 does not make me feel under gunned. I might try strapping on a 3 inch 629 this winter.

    One shot stop may be possible (with any caliber) , but it all depends on shot placement and the individual who is shot. You might not hit a vital organ or some don't realize they are dead yet.
