Ok folks, it's common knowledge the the 1873 .45 Colt was and currently at Colts is .454. Early three screw Rugers were .454 and then someone changed the rules!?
Who decided .452 instead of .454 and to add to the confusion, new production Rugers and Smiths throats are closer to .450!!!!!
Hello, can someone refresh my senile memory on the maker of sixguns from Texas (I think) that made guns without cross pins that showed in the frame?
Everything drops in from the bottom underneath the trigger guard, they made common calibers including 454 Casull.
Greetings, I have a bud who has an old ultra rare Singer 1911 (1 of 500!) and asked me to possibly help find a Colt Monitor (1918 BAR variation).
He's clued in on Blue Book and likely could sell the Singer online several places but he wants to trade into another cool class 3 rarity.
FYI, I...
Greetings, IF more is truely better (hey it's an American Thing!) what speeds should the 230gner run at?
I've seen some premium brands clock in at 1000fps as well as late 80s vintage SuperVels as well as many of the current brands poking along at barely 800fps.
Remember all the LEO love for...
Hello, anyone have an idea on what mags might swap or a smith that retros say Uzi or better Ingram or grease gun mags for the Beretta Storm in .45acp??
Thanks all!

Greetings all, where to find Hertenberger +P ammo in bulk? We clocked some from a blue box at the bottom of one of my shooting bags 125s@1300fps and love it!
Hello, there has to be someone that has some experience with Walthers 9x18 Police/Super/Ultra?
I know I can start with 380 data but I wondered what with all the new powders if anyone has perked up the cartridge?
115s@1000fps, maybe 1100fps?
Thanks all!
Hello, FYI I spotted a few of the 50 special run SIG 226 Operation Enduring Freedom 501st with gold inlay on the top and sides of the slides here in Anchorage at Gun Traders on Muldoon.
Hodo Smith fans!
We're loving the new .500s but that dang bolt/cylinder lock dropping out even with light loads is a PAIN:cuss:
Smith as you recall added some enhancements to their later guns including EXTENDING the cylinders bolt lock cut outs but ignored it on the .500s!!??:cuss: :cuss...

Hello group,
