What with open borders and the tragic events around the world this seems to be more on the minds of the general public based on the sudden rush on gun stores and firearms training.

How Did We, As a Civilization, Become So Naive?

People seem to lack in areas of critical thinking. They hear, “There is no border crisis.” and go back to tapping on their electronic devices. They have no concept of cause and effect relationships and say things like “defund the police”, while they also complain about crime. Or how about making possession of any firearm a criminal act, so only the criminals have them at their dispose…?

It’s all on purpose though, many people involved in the foolery and not all of them are the fools. I do not understand the malice against our Country though. Sure they will destroy it but why would you want to?

Our state run media can tell any lie it wants and ignore any truths. Most people are putty and get molded by "them."

I blame whoever controls our media for so many people wanting to "feel" safe in gun free zones.

Thats a deep question that requires a lot of thought and is going to be hard to answer without getting too political.

I'm afraid America is getting dumber. Just walk through Walmart or drive down the freeway and you will get what I'm saying.

Yep....saw a clip on the news the other day about the amount of Jewish women buying guns and taking training. These are women who never touched a gun before the latest events. Spent a week with a group of folks that don't hunt, nor do they own firearms, yet they are happy to hear about others who have guns. Tried my best to talk them into getting training themselves. Most seemed to be interested when told how simple it is. Even offered those who could, that they could practice at my private range down at the cabin anytime they wanted. I also offered to help them by letting them shoot some of my guns to get a feel as to what they would like for themselves. Hope they take me up on it. Seems folks once reluctant to the idea of concealed carry are now realizing how important it is, not just for one's own safety, but the safety of those around them.

I do not understand the malice against our Country though. Sure they will destroy it but why would you want to?

It's not just the malice against our country that is going to destroy us.....but the malice within our country. Too much anger, narrow mindedness, bigotry and racism that is continuously fueled by slanted and bias media. We are our own worst enemy.

How?...Why?
Because of apathy and appeasement and I share guilt in that as well. God bless my dad a veteran of two wars against communism in Korea and Vietnam but I remember as a kid him telling me about gun rights "they can't take them away the Constitution says so". I was apathetic based on what he said, not just regarding the 2nd but the 1st also and the whole Bill of Rights. When you live comfortable and just assume everybody believes in the same base line principle that is naive, and I was. A lot of things have woken me up to the fact that Americans do not any longer share baseline common beliefs in the last several years but the authoritarian COVID responses and the amount of people who supported those really opened my eyes.

There is a Marxist movement in the U.S.A and western nations, anybody that knows history and the ideology should be able to see this. Years of public school, college and media indoctrination is coming out in the open now and it is no longer a fringe movement. The U.S Constitution and western freedom based government ideology is incompatible with Marxism and the nation is becoming more and more divided.

However to address neo-cons who push a narrative also of "just to feel safe" with narratives like "we must fight them over there so we don't fight them here" who use patriotic emotional manipulation who promote foreign wars that last decades and end in stalemate or defeat with a select few enriching themselves and in the end make everything less safe, they are part of a "system" also.

Some people want to destroy just because they can or because they are evil. Some people think that they are helping by tearing things down so they can be built better. Some people are taught to hate specific peoples based on their religion, ethnicity, political or economic systems, etc. Some people are taught to hate anyone who is not like them. Some people want to destroy others so they can have what the people they destroy have. Some people want to destroy others because those people they destroy have things that they don't have and they feel like if they can't have them, no one should.

It's mostly all the same reasons that we talk about self-defense, just on a bigger scale.

This is the thing that infuriates me about the "Right." All of this bad stuff is being done to the US intentionally. We are the fools to think that THEY (those who are actually calling the shots) are stupid, and simply making foolish choices in policy and practices. Their plan, which is succeeding in a huge way, is to bring the US down to the crap level of other countries, and eliminate the primary remaining resistance to their power grab and control of the West.

Make no mistake, there is a socialist movement at work in our country and those seeking power are taking advantage of the many that are willing to sacrifice much for the idea that their government will provide for them.

There is a Marxist movement in the U.S.A and western nations, anybody that knows history and the ideology should be able to see this.

Unfortunately we did not recognize the effort by the Marxists to take over our education system from the bottom up before they stopped teaching history and government in the public schools leaving the tenured professors in the colleges a blank slate upon which to write whatever they wished.
