10/22 - M1 Carbine Conversion

Just finished modifying my Standard 10/22 into a M1 Carbine replica.

Started with a standard Ruger 10/22, discarded the original stock and procured the M1 carbine replica.
Added TECH-Sights, USGI Sling, Auto Bolt Release modification and then altered & permanently attached a M1 carbine mag to a standard 10rd mag.





Side by Side, History meets Utility.

That looks better than the Tommy Gun I was looking at, might have to do this to my 10/22 or go buy a second one. Great work.

Inside 50yrds the 10/22 wins, 50-100yrds the M1 Carbine wins.

Been there, done that, I used my trusty'ol Marlin 60 setup as a LTR.
1st time to a Appleseed, was told after shooting the first Redcoat Target, that if I shot like all the time, I'd walk away with a Rifleman no problem.
