Hard to get anything that cheaply these days. But looking at my motley collection I realize that I have several guns I bagged for a C note or less.

Pawnshop, 10 years ago, $70.

Got anything you snared for $100 or less?

Got anything you snared for? $100 or less

Couple, Mossberg 500 for a C note
H&R single shot for $65
Hi point .40 for $50
Glenfield model 55 for $100
Marlin model 60 for free, cousin thought marlins were junk and gave it to me.
too many others to remember. I don't buy guns very often, and when I do, I usually tend to get them around 100 bucks or less. If you wait you will see deals.

EDIT to add: Forgot about the Winchester 1200 I bought for a hundred a couple of years ago.

looks like some good stuff for cheap. but looks like 10+ yrs ago....I wish when i was younger i didnt buy silly things...things wer cheaper then...lol

Only really fair if you factor in inflation.

What cost $100 in 1965 would cost $703.47 in 2011.
Also, if you were to buy exactly the same products in 2011 and 1965,
they would cost you $100 and $14.38 respectively.

But yes, in the last decade I've scored some great sub $100 guns.

.22 Savage bolt - $20
.22 Marlin 60 - $100
12 ga. Winchester pump 1400 - $40
Mosin Nagants $50-$100
Sporterized Enfield $85

Saxon, well done. I sold most of my sub $50 guns to the Presbyterians for $50 cash each, and I don't have pretty pictures, but let's see.

1 - 16 ga bolt - $40, pawnshop, shot my 1st squirrel w/ that gun
2 - 20 ga bolt - $30, gun shop
3 - Marlin Glenfield .22"LR - $20, had to glue stock back together, pawn shop
4 - 12 ga, Stevens straight-pull PG 18" - $40?, sold to friend
5 - .22" LR RG revolver, gave to brother, who snuck it back, gave it away
6 - 2 x Mosin receivers w/ bbls, $15/each, Tulsa gun show, sold w/ stocks @ FW show
7 - .25" ACP Raven?, stocking stuffer for Brother, $40
8 - 1 Mosin receiver w/ bbl, sold FW gun show
9 - Remington Mosin, w/ fare thee well trigger, $50, nicely sporterized
10- Turkish Mauser receiver w/ bbl, pawn shop
11 - think the Chinese SKS I bought in the 90's was under $100, bought 2, gave one to the bro.

1,2,3,& 7 all went to the Presbyterian gun buy back; I only still have 9, 10, & 11. All told, purchased 13 guns for under $100 over the years, that I can remember off the top of my head.

Under $100, if it's not a piece of crap I'll probably buy it. It's amazing sometimes what you can get for that price from people who just don't want them anymore.

I bought a LNIB S&W Model 15-2 for $100. Of course that was back in 1966.
About 3 years ago; $100 for a Savage Model 958 22LR.
Then last year, a German made O/U 38 derringer for $100. I probably over paid for it, but after blasting many years of pocket lint out of the action, it works great.

A few. I don't have pictures of many, but

Savage 520/Western Field model 30 20 Ga, $99

Meriden top break .38 S&W, $75

Iver Johnson .32 S&W, $60

Arisaka Type 99 (really clean, too) $50

Nice G98, $100 (gave to a friend for his birthday)

91/38 carcano cavalry carbine, $65

I'm sure there were others that I can't recall at the moment.

I know... I know... inflation and what was $100 25 years ago would be a lot more now but I'm going for a round amount, here.

I am only including guns I still have. Of course in my youth many, many guns passed through my hands under $100. I recall M95 Mausers for $19.95, M98s for $29.95, and 1903s for $69.95 at Woolworths.

I have bought several guns for under $100 in the past two years. Some have been good deals and others not so good. Is a Hi-Point for $75 a good deal when they are $159-$200 brand new? I bought a 9mm and a 45 for less than $200 in a package deal and both have been flawless. Bought a Jennings J9 for $50, I think, and it is a piece of crap. Nice box, paperwork, 2 mags and locks and it sits in a safe because it jams every 3rd shot. Bought an awesome sporterized Swedish Mauser for around $100, not looking at my paperwork but it was in the ballpark, and it is a tack-driver since I had it scoped.
I have bought a couple of 22 rifles and could get more for less than $100 but I am out of long gun space and don't want to buy another safe right now.

Well, I just purchased a Steyr M95/34 for $79 a couple days ago from J&G. Not exactly a rifle to brag about, but I've been wanting one for a while and the price isn't too disagreeable.

By golly I forgot about the M95 I got 3 years ago for $79.95.

Oh, and I got this Krag for $85 but that was 20 years back and I put about $200 into it rebuilding it.

If I keep it to the last decade or so:

Top in the photo, JC Higgins/Sears 103.18 single shot; $59 ( traded an AR LPK for it )

Top in this pic, $80 M91/30

$99 @ Big 5, Vz24

$99 @ Big 5, K-31

1903.gif

$50 1903 Pocket automatic, 32 ACP, made in 1905. Friend of a friend found it in a closet while cleaning out his grandmother's house, it had sat on the carpet for so long, fibers were embedded into the slide and the right side was pretty badly pitted. I managed to clean it up and had it coated for cheap as a shooter. I was in it $120 total after buying some new springs, an extractor and a spare mag.

Free model 87a.

I've had a few Mosins, the heritage 22 from academy. My best deal though wad $150 for a Remington 870 wingmaster.

"I am only including guns I still have."

Me too, I still have that '72 Single-Six. $60 was a lot of money. A new VW bug was under $1900 if you didn't want the AM radio.

In the last 7 years
$75 Savage mkII 22lr
$40 Glenfield 75
FREE NEF youth 20 ga (broken striker/lifter, fixed with $15 part)
$100 Hi standard DM 101 .22 mag (Which I traded it for 2nd gen Glock 17 that I then sold for $350)

Not under $100 but worth mentioning are the Norinco SKS with 540 rds of soft point that I picked up for $125, and the S&W 10-8 I picked up for $125
