I love my 10mm Witness, one is about 15 years old, never had a problem even with the hottest loads, The most under-rated gun on the market, the best bang for the buck

Thompson-Contender Super 14 in 10mm.
Most pleasant to shoot. The extra barrel gives enough more velocity, I've considered going deer hunting with it.

A couple of things here

1. houlster Welcome to THR :D
2. 223man I need pics please

PS

Welcome to the 10MM Club:D

Gen 2 G20. Bought it new the week they were released in 1992. It's had quite a few rounds through it in 22 years, including mostly reloads in the last 5 years, and it has NEVER had a failure to feed or fire. I run a moderately hot 155 grain load in it, 12.5 grains Blue Dot.

It looks like my S&W 1076, on hiatus in Springfield MA (or Windsor Locks CT) and getting the master's touch from its creator, should be home by tomorrow to keep my other Tens, G20SF and G29SF, company in the arsenal.

Me = :D

The old girl sure looks like new.

Keep 'em clean and they'll last forever. It's turning into a safe queen lately, I'm shooting .40 a lot more because it's my CC, got to stay in practice. I will still take the Glock to the range every couple of months and put 50-75 rounds through it, just to make sure it still works. :rolleyes:

Guess I can join the club now with my new Glock 20.

Took it to the range Friday, which was my first time shooting a Glock and first time shooting 10mm. That trigger takes a bit of getting used to, and I started out terribly at 7 yards. After 160 rounds I was doing OK, though. Need a lot more pratice with this one.

First 150 rounds were Armscor 180gr (~1150 fps) - not a lot of recoil. Last 10 rounds were Underwood 180gr XTP (~1300 fps). The latter had a lot of oomph. All of the Armscor brass was recovered, but the Underwood ammunition must have slung it into the next county. It was nowhere near the rest, and none of it was recovered.

For the gun itself, I like the texture on the Gen 4. Very "grippy". Interchangeable backstraps were nice. Going strapless or with the smallest size seemed to work well for me, and I couldn't feel much difference between the two. The largest one was just too big to maintain a consistent grip during shooting.

Sorry guys, totally spaced out this thread, I'm #22.
Tactical Commander, professional grade. This Fusion is really tight and it's set up for large 4-legged predators during daylight and night time encounters.

Flush cut muzzle;

Diamond cut slide, 10-8 sights with Tritium front post;

I've experienced night time encounters with mountain lions and they're less inclined to back off when I'm with my German Shepherd. This was reinforced recently by a bear huffing nearby around sunset, hence the rail and magwell;

After 300 rounds of various handloaded JHP and hard cast ammunition;

Chain link MSH and front strap make for an excellent grip when lowering split times;

Bob Serva was great to work with during the spec process. The end goal was to have a work carry 10mm. .....and a little fancy for those BBQ get togethers.

Well bang switch when I started this I gave out numbers I need to update gotta do that tomarrow

Thanks guys, the 10mm in a Commander platform make a great combination, especially for handloaders. The 180gr Gold Dots running in the mid1200s performs very well against threats. Should I see or hear a black bear nearby then the GDs can be changed out for 200gr WFNs for very deep penetration; including thick muscle and bones.
