Yada, yada, yada.

14+1, lightweight, ergonomically delightful, rugged, dependable, totally reliable and a hellva lot more accurate than the shooter. Witness Carry-P.

Inexpensive doesn't always mean "cheap" and expensive doesn't always equal quality.

I have had my 10mm Megastar for two years now. I wanted the most power I could accurately handle. This gun weighs a ton but I would strongly suggest it. The mags are expensive and parts are obsolete, but it's very reliable. I carry it everyday in the car and on my person. If you are a big enough guy to shoot it, you should be able to hide it on your waistband easily.
I have shot over 5,000 rounds of practice ball ammo through it, and about 1,500 or more full house cor-bon loads. I have also shot a few hundred hot handloads with 160-210 grains on top. According to my range log only 45 feed issues in all those rounds. Mainly because of a dirty chamber. The stock 3 dot sights are great, and accurate too. I got mine for 450 lightly used with one mag.
I dont like the g-20 because it recoils more. A nice heavy built 10mm makes fast follow ups easy. I am however getting a 10mm glock 29 soon. 10 rounds of 10mm you can put in a fanny pack to go for a jog. No stray dog or mugger wants to deal with that.

With your MegaStar, if you run out of ammo, you can
beat the perp to death in short order. :D

One of my many mistakes was trading off a MegaStar .45.
