Nice!
I’m back in Florida. Never made it to any gun stores in LV. We did have dinner at Hell’s Kitchen, Delmonicos, Milos, and a few other pretty good restaurants but no driving ranges and no guns. Too much business to do. Kinda bummed but since I couldn’t bring anything home it’s not stinging too badly. I just wanted to see full shelves and low prices.

Some parts of the country is not getting as much. My brother in Arkansas sees none, just started seeing powder, North Carolina is back on track but still $90/primer, Seattle is filled but mostly $90/primers

He was probably wearing Birkenstocks. They’re very popular with left-coasters. Especially the vegan anti-industrial warriors who like to throw paint on fur coats and burn down animal labs. Evidently, the cows surrender their hides to make hippy-wear.
I 100% wish Seattle and the West Coast was full of hippies and tree hugger! I literally drive thur a fire bomb a few weeks ago, this morning a Harley wreck his bike a few hundred yards ahead of me and the biker just took off his helmet and gloves and ran.. down the interstate.

Quite life awaits me in a few more years! But for now, stocking up on classics and components!

Did you see the New Crazy Sphere in LV?

Yup. Took a walk from the Brooklyn Bowl around the park and went on the Ferris wheel. Saw the skyline at just past dark. Very cool there after the storm. I can’t tell you how many people made the joke about us Floridians bringing the hurricane with us. 🙄
There’s quiet and then there’s boring. Florida is boring. I kinda like boring. LV was interesting But no shooting related stuff there so nothing else to say on the topic. I wouldn’t want to live there but I might go back for a visit.

I want to go the machine gun shop in LV and shoot a Dillion! not the 750! lol

Wow. Looks like I made it through this shortage. I stocked up a little before it got started and was getting low on Large Rifle. Stopped to get my deer license today and they had every size at least in some brand. Even CCI 200 Large Rifle. Even bought a box of Hornady 7mm bullets ($35) for my new 7-08 so I don't need to pay shipping. Makes me look back over the last few years from my seat in the Minneapolis suburbs, and wonder about the future. Really appreciate what Hornady has done to keep me shooting. Only regret is not helping others more with stuff I could have spared.

PRIMERS… It’s coming back! but for how long is my question. I’m going to bet this will short live. Just got a funny feeling about 2024! Let set a schedule for primer stocking, I’m doing 3-5k a month for a year. Leen months less, good months more. well that also mean less going out to eat & gun shopping. But. That’s OK.

Just remember 2021 people! we we literally spending 20 minutes trying to find a dropped primer. Don’t forget to date your stocks!

Gotta find some of the LPP. Mag isn't needed I don't think. I need to try them in my reduced 30-30 loads instead of my questionable supply of LRP.

Sportsman! doing a primer run today. Got 2 brick of SPP Mag, and 1 LPP Mag.
were they allowing more than 1 brick now? i swung by sportsman's this evening since we were in the area and picked up another fiocchi spp 1500 brick. it didn't occur to me to ask if you could get more than 1. they had cci LPP and federal gold something LPP. i was pissed by the time i got waited on.
it was irritating, there's hardly anyone there and i gesture to the primers( all they have to do is hand it to you and you pay at the front). after the counter guy took one step towards me a customer starts chatting him up about a bowhunting trip and i have to wait for just short of 5 minutes as the counter guy turns his back on me. the customer wasn't even inspecting anything from the gun counter. just started talking about a previous hunt. i had to ask another worker who was restocking to hand me the primers and that is when the counter guy breaks off from his chat. i told him "what the heck man all you had to do was hand them to me and you just keep chit chatting away for 5 minutes..."

I have 2 Sportsman within 13 miles of each other. Was going for 2 bricks today, but 1st counter guy says, “got 5 more SPPM, see you tomorrow or later” I exclaimed “later, as in a few” wink & nod. Drove to the other Sportsman, got 1 LPPM, they had tons more on the selves. I could probably put in a hat and get another 1k.

So get back to the 1st counter guy. He said… “Well, since your here, let me show you this Turkish Semi 12” <<<< NOW THAT SALESMANSHIP!!! AND Yes, I will buy a Ruger GP100 from that exact store in 2-4 weeks! LOVE THIS BIGBOX!
