This one has seen a lot of use over the last 30 years. It's about ready for it's third finish...

Oro's pistol makes my heart beat fast.......
what a beautiful carry gun.
And for some unknown reason, I'll bet it runs.
:)
I wonder if Old Fuff or Tuner has a pistol as nice?

Bone stock Smith. I'd like to change out the trigger for a solid, one of these days, but other than that, I can't come up with a reason to change anything. It works great just as it is.

Lots of nice 1911's here. This Springfield MilSpec is my first, with more to come. The 1911 bug bit me hard!

got me a new (to me) TRP with Custom Shop work done ($710) to it for the price of a new TRP

It has had a Nowlin match barrel and bushing added, custom fit frame to slide, replaced slide stop and safety, custom match hammer and sear, 3.5 lb trigger, and completely refinished in Armory Kote. I wonder if it was a "Pro" upgrade? I'll email the Custom Shop to see if it was.

I have a 10-8 trigger and rear sight to install ;)

Mags, How did you like the pachmayr grips on your loaded? I'm thinking about getting a pair for mine but I just can't find anybody who can comment on how they felt. They sure look nice!

I've got two...

Cost Stainless XSE with homemade grips, ED Brown mainspring housing and mag well.

The Pachmayrs are nice they are squishier in the finger grooves than the Hogues but I like that.
