Absolutely. Steel costs more. See the price of cars? Used and new - crazy. Will they normalize? To an extent.

I did find some Hornady 44 240gr XTP bullets for $30.55 plus shipping from a "local" retailer. I had to pay shipping as it was a 2.5hr round trip and they are not open on weekends :-(
I am still looking of some SPP Mag primers and am keeping an eye on the sticky - and updating it when I find some new stuff for y'all.

Good luck.
I’ll show more photos of stock shelves with bullet and powder…. on a off note! they had a “Man with no Name”’1873 45lc! I Getting that or the Teddy SAA

Ok, somebody has to ask and it might as well be me. Which of the "3 new primer factories" did those come from? ;)
oooh good god, I already admitted I was wrong about them… don’t believe everything you hear on the internet, especially if it makes you feel good

let it be known, as of 10/07/2021 Mark_Mark was wrong about 3 new print factories

Primers you don’t need can be traded for primers you do need. As I have said before, never pass up primers for a below market price ever.
every Wednesday Sportsman at Everett gets shipment of primer, powder, and ammo (ha ha) , they post when they shipment gets in. I bet CCI SPP are $43 there!

And if enough people stop buying what will manufacturers do? When every sale is a loss what will retailers do? When it’s not worth carrying reloading supplies because no one is buying at a price sellers can afford, what will sellers do?

Primers on the shelf isn't a problem, when people are willing to pay what ever it takes to remove them from the shelf.

like the RCBS press thread, their is a real issue with shipping and cost of labor. I for one think Doom&Gloom is coming
I don't like to agree with you. But there is going to be a hard reboot somewhere if the trend isn't rectified.
I haven't even gone to the reloading store in months. Now I'm moving back home. So I need to remember how to get to my supply stores from when my dad used to drive me to them.

I love you too!
