I actually sent an email to my AG (Jack Conway, KY) telling him to keep up the good work.

I would suggest people do the same if their AG is on the list.

From the letter:
Importantly, the White House website no longer calls for
the reinstatement of the 1994 ban. In fact, it expressly acknowledges “the great conservation
legacy of America’s hunters.”

Hunters my donkey. How about the great legacy of America's revolutionaries?

I am a little surprised Alaska isn't on that list, as Governor Palin just received a very neat AR from the NRA.

I don't think the AR has much to do about it.

Every morning, I stream KBYR 700AM out of Alaska. This morning, they mentioned something about Palin having just appointed a new AG. I guess they've been without one. Here's an article about that. The legislature doesn't seem to like her.

AG Holder urges new hate crimes law

By LARRY MARGASAK and DEVLIN BARRETT – 18 hours ago

WASHINGTON (AP) — Citing recent killings in Arkansas, Kansas and the nation's capital, Attorney General Eric Holder on Tuesday said new hate crimes law were needed to stop what he called "violence masquerading as political activism."

Quote:

"We will not tolerate murder, or the threat of violence, masquerading as political activism," he said. "So let me be clear. The Justice Department will use every tool at its disposal to protect the rights ensured under our Constitution."

So........................................how do we hold him to his statement and use it to our advantage?
