2nd Amendment student organization in... EGAD... PRK

Hey guys... guess what...


There's a bunch of college republican'ers at my college (Cal State San Marcos) who want to start a 2nd amendment organization.

"To promote the safe and responsible use of firearms for recreation and self defense, through training, education, and awareness" or some such stuff

I'm there, dudes...

Anyways. I'm gonna do what I do best, and try to spearhead this movement... I'm thinking:

Free gun safety seminars for CSUSM students.
Organized trips to the range
Rallies and petitions for gun rights

What do you guys think.

some friends and i just started a similar club at my law school
dont hold back, it will be more rewarding than you can guess and you will find allies you never knew you had and get to talk to people about precious freedoms they dont know they have.

BowStreet, could you please send your group bylaws, I have also been thinking about starting a general gun club here at the Univ. of Illinois... bleh, its hard to live here coming from florida, and knowing that my friends form highschool are able to keep their guns with them at college. I still can't believe that its a crime for me to even own a single bullet here because I dont have a stupid FOID

I'm at Cal state Sonoma and a buddy of mine at SF state wanted to start one but im graduating so maybe just a club for younger people, some program to tech kids in the area basic gun safety. Can anyone think of a way we could set up a program to work with police to teach middle school kids safe gun handling and things like that in an area full of rich soccer moms who think gun has four letter?
