On November 12th I was in Scheels and found Marlin Levr-revolution ammo in 35 Rem. Was visually impressed with round and decided right then to take my Rem 7600 in 35 Cal Deer hunting. Knowind I'd get a bit more velocity out of the 22" barrel vs my stainless Marlin Ltd model with the 16" barrel(18"??) (left the Marlin at home) thereby getting a little extra reach in the Sandhills around Valentine Nebraska. During the 1st few hrs in my hunt a limping Coyote lopped from my right to left about 70 yards in front but below me, across a cut Alfalfa field. I was standing on hill looking down... my 1st 35 round hit above him, my 2nd round hit in front of him and my 3rd round hit him just above the left shoulder and flattened him. I pumped the 7600 ejecting the fired 3rd round and the 4th round jammed...the round actually sticking somewhere midfield half in the chamber half still in the mag???? After clearing the jam I removed the mag. Reloaded with 4 new rounds...EVERY ONE JAMMED to the point that one round: the slug ended up getting seated deeper in the case! Tried 4 new rounds ALL JAMMED  . I am most certainly confused why this occured :what: ? The 35 is a dream of a cartridge :D ...only wish the 7600 had not jammed so readily/easily. Haven't a clue why the jamming occured, any of you have a suggestion?

Have you cleaned the rifle yet? If you have, see if you can reach a finger inside the chamber and gently feel to see if you feel any burs.

Have you previously used the 7600 with other ammo? Do you still have any other ammo you can test, to see if it feeds?
