Title says it all. Just brought home my 11.5" Windham Weaponry SBR and am looking to suppress it.
I'm waffling between two primarily, the AAC M4-2000 and the Silencerco Specwar 556K. It will primarily be mounted on an 11.5" AR so length is important... one of the reasons I'm not looking at 30 cal cans.
The M4-2000 has been a go-to for nearly a decade... BUT it's made by AAC so I have concerns over quality and Customer Service since being acquired by Freedom Group. But the 51T ratchet feels more solid to me.
Likewise the Specwar 556K has been discontinued but can still be found. The ASR mount seems less solid to me, but people have good things to say about it. While Silencerco has some of the best CS in the industry, they've had a few rounds of layoffs lately... just concerns over longetivity of a smaller company.
Thoughts? Anything else I might be missing in the same length/weight area? Definitely want to keep to quick detach models. Will likely be spending time on two AR's (one 11.5", one 16") and a 16" bolt gun.
