7.62x39 bolt rifles?

I was thiking today, I'm pretty happyy with the rifles, shotguns, and handguns I currently have. There's not too much on the wishlist. It's not that I own many guns. I'm just content with the few that I have.
I was wondering though, I might be interested in a 7.62x39 bolt action. I've never looked for one before and thought you guys could save me alot of research time. I'm prety sure I'd heard of a CZ in that size and maybe a Ruger? I think someone said they wished for a Stevens in that round. Does Savage make one?
So...who makes a 7.62x39 bolt action?
 
CZ and Ruger are the only ones I know of. Remington used to offer the 798 in 7.62x39 that was a great rifle for the money but alas your choices now are limited and expensive.
 
I recently picked up 2 Saiga's in x39 $350 each very accurate and with a 5rnd clip for hunting quite lite about 6.5lbs. I used one to take a fair sized forked horn at 250yds with open sites this year. I'll use it again but will be using a fore arm mounted scope. Also a lot of fun to shoot since you can still get ammo at $225 per 1000rnds. A very serious dual purpose gun, get one if you can you won't regret it!!!
 
The Savage scout comes in 7.62x39.

Also there was a conversion kit for the Enfield to take AK mags and shoot 7.62x39.
But I think those are hard to find.

I know Winchester and Rossi make single shot 7.62x39.

Jimmy, I'm very familiar with the Saiga, having converted 6 or 7 of them, including a .308 version. I am however very happy with my Inter-Ordnance AK right now with it's U.S. made receiver and barrel.
So, now looking for the bolt gun.
 
Wolverine Supplies up in Canada just got a small one time shipment of AIA's in 7.62 X 39
They came in from England and look real nice! There are some down south that were imported a few years back but there were issues because while they are assembled in Australia parts are made in Vietnam and I guess that's an issue somehow....
Pretty sweet carbine ,teak wood and AK mags.

Charles Daley offered it in the mini mausers, I believe that Remington or Winchester now imports the Zastava Mauser (its a 98 large ring, I believe)
 
I have the CZ 527 Carbine 7.62x39. Nice rifle.

I also have the Australian M10A in 7.62x39.
Few of these were imported into the US. The gun was also manufactured in .308, so the 7.62x39 is a little overbuilt. What sold me on it is it uses AK magazines.

This is a stupid question probably, but are the ballistics of the 7.62x39 any different out of a bolt vs. an AK type rifle, or is it still essentially similar to the .30-.30? I'm assuming that barrel length would be the only real difference, but I've been known to be wrong before...

I fondled the Oz M10 "Enfield" 7.62x39 at a Ganders Mtn - whatta nice bolt gun!!
 
AIA M10-A2 if you can find one; what M2 Carbine has pictured above. If you really wanted to , you can use 30rd AK mags with it (though it really wears me down) - I miss mine. :(
