9MM Ammo question

I recently ordered the following ammo from a website. The description was as follows:

Federal Classic
+P+ 9MM LUGER
115 GR HI-SHOK JHP
For Law Enforcement use only 9BPLE

The website showed a picture of a Federal Classic grey box with the label as described above and advertised "Public Welcome" .


I received a white box labeled:

Federal Ammunition
9MM LUGER +P+
Jacketed Hollow Point
9BPLE

Are these the same ammunition? Is one possibly bulk ammo verses retail?

Kind of curious, what handgun are you using? I've used similar loads on my 9mm revolver...

The key is the Federal product number 9BPLE. I might guess that the white box meant it was overrun from a real government contract.
