hell 9mm is really 0.3543307078 in., so your wrong too
Actually 9mm it is .3543307086614173 inches.:) Unless the online conversion calc I used is wrong...
Statements of mm or decimal inch measurements in reference to calibers etc can get one in a whole lot of confusion....never did understand how all that got started instead of just using actual measurements:confused:

FWIW the Cx4 is a great little carbine, accurate, reliable, inexpensive, and fun to shoot...what more could you ask for?

I'd have to differ on the inexpensive part...I'd own one in a minute if it wasn't so, IMO, overpriced. I can buy a SUB2000 in both 9mm and .40 for the same money.

the best is an h/k or a beretta, hands down. I do like the idea of the ruger, and the marlin.
that is about it for old school though. Unless you wanna run an A/R, in 9mm config.

hipoint is expensive and ultra succubus when it comes to replacement mags.and their limit is 10 rounds.
the kel tec is good, very good, but it is super dirty; the powder just seems to fly, and also, that hard aluminum pipe, for your cheek weld, is wonderful at rearranging your dental work, even if padded with a/c pipe padding. Also because of the terrible sights, that are not high enough, you cannot squish your face down into that pipe, and smash it flat enough, to get a very good, or confortable, sight picture. you almost have to get one with a flattop rail, and add an optic; unless you just like to flatten out one of your cheekbones.
the marlin 9 is the best of the old school.
still though, h/k or beretta is the way to go.

I like the Kel-Tec Sub2K.

If you're worried about the anti's, then this is the gun because they'll never even see it folded in your laptop bag where ever you go.

Get the version that uses Glock pistol mags. They're available, inexpensive, and if your state allows it, can hold up to 31 rounds.

Kel Tec Sub2000, I shoot mine as often as Possible. rarely a FTF. If so usually I can attribute it to the ammo. Nonetheless very infrequent.

For price, reliability, versatility, and concealability; the winner is the Sub-2000

9mm using glock mags. I use 33rd glock mags and the reliable Korean KCI 33rd mags. Kel Tec Rocks.

How reliable are those 33rd mags in that Beretta Storm?????? :neener:

I could get an HK but "They still hate me, and think I suck" Cause im a civilian. HK and their overpriced plastic crapola.

I suppose you could buy a new marlin camp carbine; oh wait, yeah sorry not in production. Hummmmm

Well there is always the Ruger PC Carbines, buy one of those new.....ohhhhhh dang they quit making those too?

I saw a deal on a Storm CX4 $750 the other day.....could buy at least 2 Sub2000s and be well on my way to alot of extra mags for $750.

Sorry that isnt my rail, Kel-Tec is making a rail now.

I put the picture cause I don't have one of my current Sub2000.

Kel-Tec is making you call for the rail. If you hit them on a day they have them in stock you get to buy one. Otherwise it is a hit and miss thing. I have called half dozen times no luck getting one. Always told me to call back in few days, week, 2 weeks, yada yada.

here is the info on the rail.

Wow...I don't consider $17 shipped for a mag direct from Hi-Point bad at all, in fact that is pretty darn good compared to what I've had to pay for some mags, upwards of $50 + shipping :)

Added in edit- Deja Vu rangerruck -- I already "corrected" you in another thread where you said 4 Hi-Point mags were $160. Whats it take to get you to realize they are $17 ea shipped:banghead:

I have the Marlin Camp 9mm that I put a folding Choate stock on and a 2X Red Dot sight. after I got the recoil spring and buffer replaced with good aftermarket parts and did a trigger job it's been fun, accurate and with +P loads as deadly as any 'around the country home' gun needs to be. I have a couple MecGar 20 rd mags too. would take a pretty penny to get it away from me, a shooting buddy has the Marlin shortie .357 (good shooting and powerful w/his maxed-out handloads) and says he'll trade - I tell him he won't give enough boot.;)

Yeah around $300 for KTSK, and around $200 for the Hi Point, The HK and Beretta are great but more than double the price, which is worth it to some people, for that money I'd just get a 9mm AR. I thought there was a 9mm PPSH? I'm not sure, but that is just one fun looking gun! Once again the "toss it in the back of the truck and let it bounce around" factor goes back to the KTSK and Hi-point. I mean thats the whole point of a 9mm carbine? Well it is in my eyes and my own personal preference.

9mmP carbines are fun but I'd only be buying one if my semi-auto rifle needs were completly filled.

That said, I've owned 2. A Ruger PC9 and a semi-auto Uzi. The PC9 got sold as the takedown was fiddly and the trigger required an act of God to set off. Multiple people that borrowed it asked if the safety was on. It wasn't, the trigger was just that heavy. The trigger group has the added feature of being built into the stock, so you ain't going to change it.

The Uzi is a dream to shoot. Easy handling, cheap mags (32rnd mags run $14 or so) and a retro fun factor. It's all steel except the grips and is built like a brick lavatory. Everybody that picks it up comments on how heavy it is. The receiver is stamped sheet steel that's about 2.5mm thick. I like mine so much I dumped $200 on it for a SBR stamp. BSW

if your 9mm handgun happen to be one of the following:

The SUB-2000 is available in the following versions only:
9mm : Glock 17, Glock 19, S&W 59, Beretta 92, SIG 226
.40 Cal : Glock 22, S&W 4006, Beretta 96, SIG 226

i recommend you the Sub-2000, just so you can use the same mags.

but if you have any other 9mm pistol go with a Hipoint 995 and add the ATI stock ;)

From what I've seen the G17 and G22 mag version sub2ks are the most available...I'd like to find a Sig226 version but have never been able to spot one...
