The Glock 26 is a great little package, but the 19 is nearly as easy to pack and conceal (I have no problems concealing my 19 or my 23) and has a better grip, greater capacity, and longer barrel (better ballistics & sighting radius). I'd say try the 19, but if you really HAVE TO get something smaller, go with the 26. I love my PM-9 and Browning HiPower, but the 19 is just a better overall choice in a carry gun for numerous reasons. I use the PM-9 ONLY at times when I have no choice but to put the gun in a pocket. Basically, my Glock 23 (same size as the 19, bvut chambered in .40) is my #1 carry gun and it's plenty easy to conceal.

i would say the xd. i own 2 one is a sc which is .40 and i loev it, i dislike glock sub compact guns, and the kahrs are great i have one as well in .40 and i personally prefer the steel framed kahrs to the polymer ones.

Walther P99 A/S compact in 9mm. I carried a Glock 26 for 8 years before I got my P99c 2 years ago. I prefer it much more..

Here is a pic of mine w/ a hard chromed slide:

PF9

I've been quite happy with my PF-9. It has been reliable and more accurate than expected, but mostly it is just so thin and light that you almost forget it's there. The Kahr is slightly shorter, but thicker and heavier with a 100% higher price tag. I honestly believe Kel-Tec offers about the best cost-benefit ratio out there, and some of the most innovative products to boot.

+1 On the Kel Tec PF9 im verry happy with mine.

I voted for the Glock 26 but I would go with the 19. 15 rounds versus 10 in a package only slightly bigger. I own and carry both the g23 in 40S&W and the 32 in 357 Sig which are the same size as the 19.

+1 on the psp extreme reliability, slim profile ,single action trigger, and of course, totally ambidextrius.or... glock 23c

Although the Glock 17 or 19 is my first choice for carry, if forced to choose from the given the selections offered above, I'd go with the Glock 26.

Inexpensive, readily available, easily installed parts, simple maintenance and unbelievable durability and excellent shootability are the reasons for my choice in answering your poll.

I like the G26 very much. I went through a number of "lesser" guns, including a Taurus PT-111 (piece of crap) that broke for the first time within the first 65 rounds. The Glock is reliable, accurate, easy recoil, and shoots G17 (17 round) back-up magazines just fine. I've even shot 33 round mags from my G26 without a problem. Like my 26 so much, that I went out and bought a second, which I keep in the safe as a backup.

HK P2000 or SIG229

I have carried the 229 and would also carry the p2000 in a heart beat. Both are great.

Khar PM9.

It took 800 rounds and a trip to the gunsmith for polishing before I got mine to shoot good.

Now, I have no problems with over 1500 rounds total.

Some are good right out of the box. Mine was not.

It's a great gun for concealed carry because of its size. Sometimes I forget I'm wearing it. That's the best thing I like about it.

Would I buy it again? Probably. You can have problems with any gun.

The G26 got my vote.

If you don't have to have a single stack I would look at a Hi Power. It's a very slim gun, all accept the grip and it's not fat, just not slim. But it is concealable, a joy to shoot, accurate and can hold a 10, 13, 15, or 17 rounds.

+1 for the 228.

also, I like the MK9, considering the track record of the steel-framed Kahrs.
