I bought a Ruger Blackhawk Convertible two weeks ago that had a large Houge grip, but didn't come with the factory grips. The Houge was just too big and surprisingly none of the local gunshops had any factory style grips.

I called the Ruger customer service about 10 minutes before closing time on thursday, the lady answering my call was courtious and after asking for the serial number told me exactly which grip I needed.

Saturday my grips arrived in my mailbox. Apparently they took the time to ship them the day I ordered it, even late in the day. They fit perfectly and I plan on shooting it tomorrow. I might not agree with all of Rugers policies, but their Customer Service is great.

My father recently bought a used single six.He had some issues w/ it(he bought from a lady whose husband died and he apparntly never cleaned it)anyway,he sent it off to Ruger. They replaced the cylinder, hammer ,trigger and some other stuff for free...and paid shipping too.also he sent it off right before he went on vacation for 3 weeks. He asked a woman he talked to in cust. service,if they could wait till 6/6 to send it back.the morning of 6/6 he got a call from them asking if they could send it.....pretty good.
