I'm not sure if this should be posted in the NFA forum, but this post isn't just about an NFA item.
To break it down, I had an issue with a suppressor and needed to get a part replaced. I attempted to get the repair performed back in Sept of 2020, but due to the bankruptcy of Remington (parent owner of AAC), my suppressor was returned to me without service. Advanced Armament Corp was sold off and apparently reformed into Advanced Armament Company in late 2021, whom I contacted to see about getting the repair performed.
The customer service, communication, and speed of my repair from the new AAC was stellar. They reached out to me about repairing my suppressor, and from start to finish, it was a total of 10 days. That also includes some personal travel in which I was not able to communicate with them, and a Federal Holiday.
Dealing with them prior to the bankruptcy and sale to JJE Capital Holdings was also good in their understanding of my issue and willingness to get the repair performed. Unfortunately, just after shipping my suppressor to them, I assume the company started the transition from Remington and halted all work concerning repairs.
For those interested, I put together a video detailing my timeline from the initial contact with AAC in September 2020, and then continuing to my end result in early July of 2022.
