I would say the forum admins might be able to pull a report based on birth years of registered members.

As of today I am 62 and officially retired.

P. S.; I have more firearms than most of you have years. I bought my first one when I was 15 with Dad's blessings.

78 here. I was surprized that there are so few under 20 on the forum. But it is heartening to see the large number in the 20-30 range.

22, no guns ( except air rifles ), been shooting a few times. Gonna get a .22 LR, WMR or a .17 HMR soon.

Didn't grow up around guns. Dad "didn't believe in them", but grandpa was a big gun "nut" and so were all my uncles--I grew up familiarized with all the different cartridges, difference between "single" and "double action", etc. Always had an interest in them after that so I just kind of soaked up information like a sponge but never really got to actually try any real firearms until recently.

33 with way too many to count. you mean people over 50 know how to use a computer? ;) lol now i can show my dad that it IS possible after all!

My first experience with computers was with Photoshop (version 2.0) and Harvard Graphics (version does it matter?). LOL!!

Boy, am I getting tired of these personal question threads: where do you live, when did you start shooting, how many guns do you have, what do you do for a living, how old are you, did you serve in the military, how many ex-spouses, dogs, cats, rats or elephants...?:fire:

Okay, since nobody born after about 1973 can figure out a simple sum without a calculator, try this one on for size:evil:--

As a teenager, I served in Richard :barf: Nixon's Army (certainly not bragging, he was just CIC at the time). I carried an M-60 in a Parachute Infantry outfit. My sidearm was a 1911A1 .45 acp. As a member of the Weapons Squad, I also had to qualify with the M-67 90mm recoilless rifle as well as the M-16 and the M-79.

You do the math:neener:.

Yes we do. My first computer was a SLIDE RULE :what:. My mom is pushing 90 and uses a computer every day. E-mails, on line banking and even to buy stuff on ebay.

32, 10 guns, adding at least 4/yr now with my new job. Got a little carried away with the last quarterly (my first) bonus and bought 3.

3 of the first 4 guns I got were gifts from fellow veteran family members. A Trooper MKIII and AR-15 from my uncle and a Savage Model 10 .243 from my father-in-law. It wasn't untill I got back from the sand box and got out that I began the addiction.

26 years old and own 11 guns. I'll gladly carry the torch. I love my 2a right and I love my guns. Love every type of fire arm, shotguns, pistols, rifles, wheel guns and anything else that goes bang. Its a great hobby and is a big part of my life. I even have my wife turned on to guns now.

Very revealing thread. It flys in the face of a conversation I overheard at my LGS, where the speaker referred to The High Road as a "bunch of cranky old men." (His words/opinion, not mine) That'll teach 'em!

Meanwhile, the first post not in their 20's :

60, which puts me in either the 50-60 group or the 60-70 group. Next time, give some thought to the ranges. I don't know how many guns I have.

I wonder how THR got that rep :p
I got a laugh out of it btw, and am being lighthearted :)

I'm in the 40-... dammit wait a second, I am in two groups too. Kids these days, sheesh.
