I'll chime in on this one. I like my 9mm carry gun, also the cost for ammo really helps promote practice. I've got a couple 45s, but I'm not as comfortable carrying the 45 as I am carrying my 9

.45 ACP if it's an auto.

.44 Spl. if it's a wheelgun.

Big and slow need not expand. - Momentum and wieght is a good thing.:)

Anything loaded by Extreme Shock means instant obliteration.

:scrutiny: :scrutiny: :scrutiny:

I like the .40 the most, then .45 ACP/GAP and 357 SIG, but we all know shot placement and penetration means most.

Love these caliber war's !

I am going .45acp, specifically the XD Tactical. You get 14 rounds of .45acp, including the one in the chamber. [if that does not take care of it, you need to take cover!] In a revolver I would go with the same gun XD .45 auto, there are just not enough shots in a revolver.

But, can you pocket carry it?

I'm a good shot, there's enough rounds in my CONTENDER, let alone my revolver. If you can't shoot, maybe you need 14?:neener:

:D Coinsidering your handle, I'm assuming this was a sarcastic post. LOL

I shoot pretty good. But in all honesty I have come to prefer my auto's over my revolver's. I have gotten to be a better shot with the auto's and that may be because I shoot them almost exclusively now. I have to admit, it is more expensive at the range since I go thru ammo quicker. But I have a lot of fun with the auto's. For carry I lean towards one of my Taurus 24/7 Pro's they are .40 and are a slimmer gun.

Have a good one MCgunner

I carry a 9 a lot. It's flatter, it's more compact, and powerful enough. The fact that it holds 11 rounds doesn't bother me either. :D I can shoot about anything, but I reload an auto a LOT quicker. I'm all thumbs with a speed loader. Besides, that speedloader is a lump to carry around.

But, I still carry my revolvers now and then for variety. That's why I like DA or DAO autos, simplifies manual of arms between guns. Just draw and pull DA. I just can't give up revolvers. I mean, I like autos, but I like revolvers, too.

I WAS just jokin' around with that post. Hope no one took offense.

.38 special and .357 are a mans best friend accompanied by the .45 acp.
One of these days when I start making good money I will get a .45 acp colt 1911a1.
