Almost Finished

Added a Magpul stock, VQ scope mount for my C-More Railway and the dot. Almost done, Good friend brought over another stock and a Tacticl Solutions barrel. I'm be mounting that in the morning. Will get to practice with it Wednesday.
Just curious, how's that C-More working out for you? I have been looking at them and trying to justify their price point compared to about a half dozen others

I've been using C-Mores for more years than I can remember. I've tried the smaller red dots but always come back to the Railway.
I like the field of view and the fact that I can change diodes from 2 - 16 MOA without a problem. I currently use 6 MOA on my revolver and 12 MOA for my Steel Challenge rifle.
Customer service is top notch.
Make sure you keep an extra battery with you. Use LR 44s instead of the battery that comes with it. You can get the LR 44s much cheaper and they are easier to install..

Well, the Wolf spring kit came in today and I was able to install it in no-time. I put it into an old trigger that I found the other day and had done a trigger job to it. Pull was 3 pounds and 3 ounces so I polished it and installed the Wolf kit. Trigger pull is now 1.75 - 2 pounds and although there is a little noticeable set-up the break is nice and clean and has no after set.

I put the original and the BX triggers away for another time. I'll be testing the system Wednesday at our local indoor range and am hoping for the best. Next will come a full paint job.

The Simmons 8 X 34 power scope has been replaced with a C-More Railway. I like the field of view and that i can change the size of the diode between 2 and 16 MOA as I choose.

Other than painting I think I'm done. It's been fun. s/

Today I got to shoot it finally. Groups are about what I expected from this build, it's not supposed to be a tack driver, just groups enough for Steel Challenge and it's good enough for that.

Here we go:

They literally have decades upon decades of dominating competition in competition.
They are however not a viable alternative for slide ride applications
I no longer have this 1911, but it was very nice. I decided I did not like the combination of an aluminum frame and full sized slide.
