I have the Giraud annealer , only bad thing is loading the hopper . Once loaded it trucks right alone with no problems.

Have not. I did add a slightly longer roll plate.

I normally hook it up to my big bottle of propane. I do have a regulator I can use but have not gone to the trouble to find the right hose connector to hook it up.

I've learned over the years as to what flame distance I need at distance. I've thought about adding a second torch. I think this would speed up the process greatly. But I'm retired and normally doing something else while it's running.

The 10 turn 10K ohm potentiometer mod gives much more precise speed control and repeatability.
If you order it from aliexpress you can get it to your door for about $5.00
I was the first to do this mod back in 2007.
