So by now, we've covered phobic dreams of our guns failing us, daydreams of guns we'd love to have/ shot, etc.

So now I just thought I'd ask: What is the oddest (if any) firearm you've used in your dreams? Or, what concept do you wish were possible but probably isn't?

I'll start: Last night's dream involved a full size two-tone Beretta 92 knockoff, single shot, chambered in .45-70  and a full-auto .17 HMR pistol.

Just feeling a little goofy toady, I guess... :p

Any takers? :D

YEARS ago -- I mean YEARS -- well -- atleast as far back as the early 1980's I think I may have had a laser blaster dream -- I'm pretty sure that was as odd as any dream-gun-dreams got. Most of my cerebral arsenal is pretty standard hardware.

Many years ago I had a dream in which I used a very compact lever-action against some kind of zombies. That's why one day I'll have to get a Winchester 94 Ranger Compact in .357Mag.

Four days ago my parents and I were discussing all sorts of political and other controversial issues, so I decided to bring up the RKBA. I'm sure this was the direct cause of me dreaming about guns on the two following nights.

Funny thing was, the first was something of an "anti" dream, and the secon was "pro".

In the first, I kept getting into self-defence situations, and completely failing to do anything useful with the guns I was carrying.

In the second, I made friends with some American Indians. They were all very anti-gun, because "guns were used to wipe out own ancestors". I kept trying to persuade them that it was evil men who were better armed than they were who were responsible, and they should be armed to stop it happening again. (Unfortunately they still refused, and later several got shot because of it, and I was unable to protect them all).

The same dream also involved me "dealing with" a gang of robbers who had taken a small town hostage. Funny thing was, the dream had started in the Old West, but then jumped forwards about 150 years to modern times (and I'd aged about 20 years in the process  ). All the criminals had AKs and ARs, but I was still stuck with an old cowboy-era leaver-action rifle. Still managed to take them all out, 'cos they were running around firing from the hip on full auto, and I was aiming. I'm sure I've got THR threads on the subjetc to thank for that.
