When I bought caps for my revolvers a few months ago, it was the first time I had done it. And at the time,I didnt know pietta revolvers were designed for #10 caps. So I messed up. I ordered #11 caps from cabelas.
5000 of them.
Now, I have fired them in all my revolvers. Only problem I had was with my 1858 with 28gr loads. The first shot, all the other caps were off the nipples.
Are there any other reasons I need to be concerned about using the #11's?
And can what happened with my 1858 cause a chain fire?
