Factory Sales

If you're in a hurry Dont order from Factory Sales, get it from Midway USA. I just recieved an order, that I place back in Dec 2008, on inaguration day Jan 20th 2009 (Kinda Ironic). So it took about a month to get an autodisk powder measurer and powder thru die. Good luck!

i order once and they are to slow for me.almost 3 1/2 weeks to get my order.

I ordered a couple things in late Dec and he was still filling orders from 2 December. He DID, however, charge my credit card 4 weeks prior to expected shipment which gave me a bit of heartburn.

He was super cool about un-charging it and canceling the order when I realized how long a lead I was looking at.

Guzzizzit - your experience was almost identical to mine.

I think in this modern age of internet commerce, charging someones card weeks before you intend to ship is shady.

Oh brother! I should have posted this thread first....

Well, I really wasn't in a hurry, but for $5 total difference (including freight) in price, I could have ordered from Midway and had it in three days.

Funny thing is that Factory Sales doesn't have their phone # posted on the web page. Must have gotten tired of all the calls from customers wondering where there stuff is.

I just cancelled my 02/04/09 order today. Got a reply e-mail indicating they were out of stock and to expect at least a 7 week delay.

Midway USA had everything in stock, so I placed an order with them for everything.

I just cancelled my order today also. I ordered 1/6/2009. I just didn't like the way they charged my card before shipping. I am now seriously thinking about ordering a dillon rl550B now.

Quick update...the order I placed with Midway today, shipped today. So rather than wait the 2 months from Factory Sales, I may well be reloading on my new Lee Classic 4-hole turret by this weekend.

They are slow as MOLASSES. I ordered a Lee Loadmaster from Factory Store, and it took 2 months to get it. They charged my card before shipping also, thats why I didn't just cancel it. Never again.... It would have been better to pay the tad extra and go somewhere else.

Before you order from Factory Sales check Lee themselves. http://leeprecision.com/. Although their prices are higher their shipping was about half of Factory Sales. I saved about $6.00 on a few replacement parts by ordering from Lee and they said it would ship in 3 days. Also most distributors don't have replacement parts.

Already did my first reloads on the new Classic Turret from Midway USA. The pricing with Midway was only a few bucks more than Factory Sales and no waiting.

After reading this and other posts about Factory Sales SLOW Shipping and wanting to get some stuff quick I placed a order for shell plate carrier, 3 hole turret and some 38spl dies for my Pro 1000 directly with Lee on tuesday. The stuff shipped yesterday I should have it Saturday or Monday at the latest. As someone said above unless you are ordering a whole kit it is probably cheaper and for sure FASTER to order directly from Lee with their flat rate $4 shipping.

It Pays to Ask Around!

Well, as much as I'm reluctant to praise Midway (for charging me extra for items out of stock and shipped one at a time) :fire: I WILL say that if it's in stock, you have a VERY good chance of it getting shipped within one business day.

Something I really appreciate about some vendors recently is that they POST what their delay is looking like, and Wideners will even tell you that they're charging your card up front. I don't particularly like the charge card bit, but at least they TELL you. Fair enough.
