Has anyone out there tried out SWFA's Super Sniper Scope? $299 seems extremly cheap for quality optics. I remain skeptical. If in comparison to one of the leading brands would it even be close?

Thanks,

Excellent scope at a very good price. I got a 10x42 model off a group buy from ARFCOM. The quality of the scope equals those hundreds more. I'll also say that SFWA's customer service is top notch.

I bought one last year before I got my rifle. My friends did not believe that I only paid $300 for the scope. It rests on my Savage 10FPLE1 .308  , waiting on a custom stock. Very good scope.

I have the 10X42M version (with the adjustable paralax) on my 10FP and am very happy with it. I haven't used any other scope (new to the game) but everything I've read and heard support the idea it's a great buy.

Great value for the money. I have a 20X SS (paper punching only) on my RRA Varmit upper and love it.

They are an excellent scope for the money if they fit the application you intend to use it for. I will be glad to see them release the variable models in the future hopefully.

Have a 20X. My first one broke on top of a 10/22M converted to .17HMR between 80-85 rounds. (Reticle rotated ~5°-8°.) SWFA took it back and gave me a new one. It's been going OK for over 2,000 rounds (same gun).

Optically, not as good as the middle-higher to higher end scopes, but usable. Otherwise OK (not including the first break).

I can say that I agree with the above, Riflescopes.com has excellent customer service and they ship things out quick, i was very impressed how fast it got here.

My brother and I both have one. Can't say that they have seen much use yet so I can't comment on that. However, they appear very well made and I think they are a very good value.

I'm thinking of buying another one even though I don't have anything to put it on since I'm afraid they'll go away or increase in price sooner or later.

I have the 10x and the 16x and for the money you can't beat them, and I shoot out to 800 yards with no problem. I also have high end Leupolds and their glass is better.

I have the 10Xx42M SS scope mounted on my M1A-NM rifle in A.R.M.S. rings and mount.

For the $'s, this combo can't be beat for reliability, ruggedness and return to 0 repetitiveness.

I own several higher priced Leupold scopes that are mounted on hunting rifles. The SS optics are not of Leupold quality but they are just fine for the intended use and price.

I have the 10x. It has been on several rifles. Just recently put it on my new Armalite AR30. So far, I have been satisfied.
I have a friend that also has the 10x. He shoots F-Class and used it when he first got started with F-Class. He switched because he wanted more magnification. He is probably the hardest guy to please (about gun stuff) that I ever met and he considers the SS to be a good scope. Not the best, but good.

you'll get no complaints here...especially for the price.
