17/17L, 17/22 etc. Anyone know where you can find data on the ones that can be switched and what parts are necessary?
Just don't try putting the barrels from the full sized models into the compact and sub-compact models unless you change out the locking block first. The angles are different and a full size barrel on a compact locking block will lock the gun up very tightly.
The Glocks are decent guns however I believe that a few other plastic guns have surpassed them, namely the S&W MP, the Walther P99, and the Steyr M series. IMO though the Glock still stands head and shoulders above the USP, XD, and all the other plastic pistols out there.
