I am considering a AR-10 type long range rifle, I want a rifle that will consistantly group at 300yds and be a viable 600yd platform.
I recently checked out a Remington R25 and I really like it other than the fact that it only comes in camo finish, and it uses AR-10 mags that are not cheap, but it comes from the factory just like I would set it up.
The other choice is a Rock River Arms SAR-8 Varmit, the reason that I like this platform is that it takes FAL mags which I have plenty because I already have a FAL.
The MSRP for both rifles is about the same so that is not an issue, but I have had no experience with RRA products, all of my AR's are Colt or Bushmaster. I have also never shot any of the Remington AR's but have owned many other Remingtons with no issues.
So who out there has had any experience with these two rifles, what are your thoughts, "which way do I go George?, which way do I go?"
Thanks
This is this! It's not something else, it's this!
Don't pull it if you don't plan to use it, and don't use it if you don't plan to kill!
