why did the .30 Remington AR fail?

With the case volume it (really!!!!!) would have made sense to use a 6mm ( or 6.5 ) bullet with a tight twist. 243/260 special short mag......... speed sells
I would have gladly bought a 6mmAR round from a big mfg; but I own a 5mm rifle and several 7mm SAUM rifles - heck even have 2 built target rifles in 7mm SAUM - I don't think remington has my loyalty anymore for factory " NEW " rounds.

Time to resurrect an old thread. Looking to buy a 30rar upper from my buddy. Sounds like it will do what I want it to.

From 0-300 yards and HUNTING deer size animals. It is hands down the best cartridge that is SAMMI spec'd available in the AR-15 package.

I LOVE my 30 RAR and everyone that shoots it loves it too. Deer however HATE it lol
