TACTICAL rifle poll
Out of the tactical rifles listed, which one do you guys think is the best piston driven carbine: LWRC M6, XCR, or SR 556? I'm thinking in regards to accuracy, reliability, durability, ergonomics/modularity, and innovation.
Please feel free to add your reasons as well.
I meant for military models and LE models as well, which will include select fire variants. If this is better served in the NFA section please move the thread.
Reasons for the rifles I chose:
LWCR-nickel palted upper internals, ability to fully disassemble the piston, new style barrel (forget the exact term, not mil-spec though) that lasts for 20,000 plus rounds, 6.8 caliber.
XCR-amazing and cheap conversion ability, FAL/AK style bolt system and charging handle, did extremely well in military trials (from what I read) but was beat out by the SCAR, and supposedly improved ergonomics
SR 556-chrome lined everything, only partially able to disassemble the piston, runs for thousands of rounds with out cleaning, comes fully done up out of the box.
and all within my price range
