From time to time my wife and I get an Edwards turtle pie as a treat. Last Christmas they were $6.99. We got one last week. $9.99
when I was a kid McDonald’s advertised “change back from your dollar”. That was a hamburger, drink and fries for 99 cents. Couple weeks ago I got just a small hamburger and it was $2
While I would encourage anyone to look for best value prices, holding out hoping prices will come down seldom works out unless there is panic buying
That's the going rate for a 10/22 anymore. But I wouldn't buy the basic version. Ruger has made well over 100 versions of the 10/22 over the years with 50+ currently showing on their website. Most all of them are a better rifle than the basic version and they just don't cost that much more.
No way I'd pay $333 for that rifle when I can pay $40 more for this version in SS, basically the same price in blue. Find a small local gunshop that does transfers. In most places you pay no tax on on-line orders shipped to your local store. There are 2-3 places locally that will do the transfer fee for $5. Some places charge as much as $20. But you'll have a much better rifle.
Ruger went up a little, big deal. Bought one of those utility trailers from Sam's two years ago for $1200, now it's $2500. I was looking at a jon boat two years ago that was $700. Now it's $2000!
Mentioning buying a 10/22. When Ruger finally was going to produce a LH version I was excited.
They come out of the custom ship so they should get a premium. When interduced if I remember correctly they were $600.
Well I was starting to think about spending the money on one. You know bite the bullet
They list them at $959 now...
I have 2, well 3 including the .177 cal air rifle I just bought that is a spitting image of the origional dimensionally.
Had an origional I got 55 years ago. Bought another pre covid all weather SS for 250 Ducats.
Did some upgrades. Gave the SS stock to the old one and put in the trigger group from the SS. Then got the new stock and BX trigger for the SS one. Add scopes I had playing around. Plus had fun doing the camo paint on the old one.
